Welcome to Busselton Aero Club

Busselton Aero Club is located at the Busselton Regional Airport (YBLN), just south east of the picturesque town of Busselton. Since its inception, BAC has successfully run multiple airshows and expos, as well as two very successful Aerofests. We have hosted some 800 school children on visits to the airport and trained more than 200 pilots. We currently have approximately 100 club members, with more arriving all the time. But never fear; you don’t have to be a pilot to join us! We are open to everyone, whether you fly already or are simply mad about aviation.

Learning to fly is now easier than ever with the changes to regulations introduced over recent years.

There 2 main categories of licensing: RA (Recreational/Sport Aviation), which provides you with a licence to fly yourself and a friend throughout Australia with some limitations, depending on the additional privileges held; and GA (General Aviation), comprising the Private Pilot’s Licence (PPL), Commercial Pilot’s Licence (CPL) and various ratings and privileges, opening the door to unrestricted flying and a career in the industry.

Here at Busselton Aero Club, we can help turn your dreams of flight into a reality. Recreational Aviation is a diverse, unique facet of aviation here in Australia; whether you want to go on to captain a 767 or simply feel the need to get your feet off the ground, you can get there through us.
